If Hopkins passes through Shumenov then beats Stevenson it will be definitely top 10 all time claim.

Whoever you are for, this is great for boxing! Unifying! You have 2 world champs who are stepping up and are not being greedy and unifying! This is what happens when you have professionals working together like these 2 fighters, Haymon, GBP and Showtime. They showed that it is not that difficult to get things done when you are dealing with people who know how to make it happen. Now, cheer for who you want but plz admit this is good for the sport and hopefully everyone else catches on. If Stevenson/Kov happens, then we can see a unification for them all at the end of the year!

        WBC, WBA, IBF > WBO.

Hopkins doesn't need that WBO belt to be an undisputed light middleweight champion of the world.

pretty easy fight for Hopkins. Shumenov is probably the weakest title holder in boxing.

Campillo totally out boxed him twice. he struggled against Uzelkov, who's basically a slightly polished tough guy contest guy.

Shumenov is a barker, which Hopkins will time all his shots with easy because he barks on every throw.

it'll be boring fight. Hopkins will provide entertainment but come on Shumenov's boxing ability is so poor even a 70 year old Hopkins will be able to outbox him.

if Stevenson Kovalev doesn't happen it will be Al Haymon's fault, you can count on that

I agree... him and Golovkin are weakest title holders in boxing.

                Kazakhstan power!

this should be the last call for Hopkins
got him winning this, but he needs to retire afterward
don't see him beating Kovalev or Stevenson at this point
get Shumenov's belt and call it a career
don't want him hanging around too long and getting beaten up

                    He's got a chance

Maaan, I know I might be biased cuz I'm from Kazakhstan, but give Beibut a chance! He's a strong puncher and a smart fighter, despite what yall haters say. Hell, if not for a broken hand, who knows how'd he do in the Athens Olympics. I can tell you one thing for sure: in Kazakhstan you don't qualify for the olympics unless you're the best in the nation and trust me the competition is crazy. It will be an interesting, unpredictable fight that could go both ways.

                    Beibut, alga!
