We all knew this fight was going to happen. The when and where was the only question. I'm only disappointed it's out east. If it was in the west I would have tried to go. Still taking Shumenov in this one. He'll switch up his style from Kovacs. He didn't need to move. Go check out some of Shumenov's other fights. Honestly, I don't think this will close. Only thing Hopkins can do is clutch and grab to slow it down and drag the fight out.

Hopkins via solid UD like 116:112 then historical unification with Stevenson for p4p light heavyweight king.

<--- Finally, the fight has been finalized and I didn't wear this Avatar picture for nothing.

And it's not even that far away so it's not a long wait. Looking forward to this.

14-1, WBA champion, ranked #4 LHW and this is just a "there's nothing else" type of fight. Everyone else is in HBO. Hopkins will unify IBF and WBA at 49 years old. I would have loved to see Hopkins expose one of Stevenson and Kovalev but they're hiding away in the other network.

If Hopkins wins this fight unifying the light-heavyweight belt... He should break top 15- top 10 all time greats. No fighter in history has showed such longevity. His achievements are great and almost unknown in the sports world!

Hopkins is an ATG, but nowhere near top 10.

I think Stevenson is ready to face him.
