Pretty soon he will be having popularity contests , instead of boxing matches because being good at what you do is not important any more. So if you are a good boxer from a small country you are screwed . But if you such and are from a country large enough ,hey you are the next PPV star. Oh wow, 1 million viewers for what used to be the biggest sport on the planet? That's really something compared to the 20 million that watch the NFL every week!

Boxing is like the 4th or 5th biggest sport in most countries. That's best case scenario in the U.S., it might actually be lower than that.

As much as the purist hate it, what Schaffer said was true.
An exciting loss is much more important and a boring win. If I have to pay $54 to watch a fight, I'd rather watch an Angulo/Canelo fight over a boring Trout/Lara style of fight.

I for one refuse to buy this card. Canelo/ Angulo are not acting like champions with all the bs they've been saying in the build of this fight. I'm only supporting champs and I don't mean belt holders.

I only support Molina, hope he can beat the piss out of the Charlo, tough fight for him and even if he pulls through he'll most likely get robbed.

He won a title off ishe smith who won it off K-9 Bundrage and only got that fight bc he signed with mayweather. Do you really not consider that a "belt holder?"
