it's hilarious how tyson and mayweather were said in the same sentence. tyson was a non stop, high octane pressure fight, the perfect blend of offense & defensive skills. you get your money's worth with tyson. as for mayweather, all we get is a sorry excuse of a prize fighter, a complete shameless dude who happens to know how to box.

Tyson was more dominant. Tyson was also the cause of his own downfall and could have had a greater legacy, but in terms of pure skill and boxing IQ, Mayweather has been a few leagues above most other fighters who fought over the course of his career, so it really depends on what "impresses" you.

Tyson was one of the most electrifying fighters to ever exist. Not just exciting, but technically brilliant.

Floyd is a genius, but lacks the excitement factor.

Tyson wins because nothing is more impressive than a little guy going forward, slipping punches and KOing big guys with some of the best combinations ever seen.
Boxng isnt what it is today compared to back in the 1980's, but if tyson was around today, knocking out bums, he would still be the biggest thing in sports.
Floyd never will be, no matter how brilliant he is.
