I am now rooting for Krusher Ko in this match up. Stevenson showing the ***** in him...have some pride atleast. I shouldnt be surprised...When Max pressed him after the fight he did not want to fight him, talking about" Canada wants me vs Bute and Hopkins" mean while in reality the crowd was still in awe over that running right hand KO that finshed the Black Russian off.

Good for Stevenson. A fight with Kovalov should get him way more then 1 or 2 million. He did the right thing. I always believed that a Promoter should not be a Manager Too. Good move. He gonna make way more money now.

I think Kovalev should fight Pascal after Agnew. That would be a good way for him to be a bigger name.

I agree with everyone that he is a little delusional but if anyone can get him more $, it is Haymon. HBO is probably not thrilled because their fighters outside TR fighters are not getting paid right compared to Showtime fighters and what HBO used to pay. GGG is way underpaid for being one of their "stars" whether you like his choice of opponents or not. Haymon made a strategic move by signing an HBO fighter. I dont' think it had anyting to do with Stevenson ultimately but the simply fact he is an HBO fighter and Haymon also has Shumenov and deals with GBP who has Hopkins. Check - Haymon. HBO besides Top rank fighters only have GGG, Kovalev and Stevensen that they are tryping to "hype". Now, Haymon through a real monkey wrench into that.

I agree that $1 million to fight an opponent like Kovalev is not enough for Stevenson, but I say Stevenson deserves $3 million tops but I can see it settling for 2.5 million. Kovalev on the other hand deserves $1 million tops. This kind of fight would bring in huge numbers and paying these fighters handsomely would ensure they give it their all.

If signing with Haymon gets you more money than its a good move. Posters should see the writing on the wall.

HBO will either refuse to work with Haymon, pretend certain opponents are not good enough and not approve them, or come up with some ridiculous excuse not to properly compensate Adonis and then start floating to the media that he is ducking. Then they will continue to pay Kovalev small money to beat up bum after bum and say the reason he is doing it is because stevensen wont fight him.

I don't know why people assume that Adonis is ducki g because he signed with Haymon didn't people say the same thing about Garcia/ Matthysse Mayweather/ Canelo that those fight will never happen. If anything Haymon has been the one to putting together fights most fans want to see.

I think Haymon can get the fight done he just gets his fighters properly compensated. I mean Rodriguez got twice as much for fighting Ward as GGG gets for headlining HBO cards.

I agree. He is getting ahead of himself. I like him and Kovalev but I think SK takes it against these two
