Mayweather is a once a generation type talent...before him there was Roy, before him pernell

What separates him from a lot of fighters today is the mastery of his craft and his work ethic...he had the natural talent of the aforementioned predecessors but added with the work ethic and drive he has been fighting world class fighters consistently since 1998....beat 12 world champions and major title holders in a row.....no fighter in the era of the wba, wbc, ibf era has done so...not including the wbogus belt.

People need to appreciate what we have while he is here

If Ali refused to fight Foreman and Frazier would he be appreciated? Would Leonard be appreciated if he refused to fight Duran, Hearns, and Hagler?

Ali has nothing to with Floyd nor does Leonard...I couldn't care less about your agenda with him

People didn't appreciate Ali for his style, personality, and draft dodging
There were also those who complained of Leonard admittingly fighting Hagler when he was slipping and fighting hearns when he thought he was done in the rematch as well as taking half a decade to fight a past it Duran in the third fight

basically no one is impervious to opinions...which are like ass holes

What you do have to face are facts....Mayweather has beaten more champions and contenders than anyone around today and longer at a High level...he is the last man standing from his generation, undefeated as well....stop trying to condemn him for what he has not done and commend him for what he has done...which is do what very few have...being a champion in two weight classes at 37

If you believe this, then you have a very bad eye for boxing.

You never know when a fighter will get old overnight. Mayweather's at a point where it shouldn't surprise anyone if he gets in the ring and suddenly doesn't look the same guy anymore.
