Actually yeah I do think Marquez is an ATG.

He's a master technician and dedicates himself to his craft, as well as being fearless.

He took Pacquiao to school every time they fought. It was only Pacquiao's speed and endurance that kept him in the fight.

HOF for sure but like some of Y'all saying 1 impressive KO victory doesn't make him an ATG. JMM does have other good fights/win, but lack name brands on his resume. It would be like calling Chris John an ATG just for beating JMM

Overall resume is irrelevant in the point I'm trying to make. The significance and magnitude of his ko win doesn't diminish simply because it happened until the fourth fight when Pacquiao himself has yet to win decisively against him.

Even without Pacquaio he still would have been a 3 division champion and the oldest to ever to do it at lightweight. Beat Barerra and Casamayor when they still had a belt and has decent names like Salido, Diaz, Katsidis and Sanchez. Still a HoF career if you take into account his technique and the fact he'll go down as one of the greatest counter-punchers of his time. The rivalry with Pacquiao only elevated him to an ATG level specially when he was Pacquiao's only competition during nearly a decade.

seriously adding de la hoya at 147 is a joke to anyones resume after he lost to floyd.

cotto is borderline hof, so is ricky hatton. so if you give him the barrerra and de la hoya victories and throw in morales and marquez
