It's not like Showtime is running to Lara with arms wide open. Make Lara an honest offer and I bet Schaefer will fight to get him approved. It's a good match up.

I'm not a Floyd fan, but a GGG fight makes no sense for Floyd. For what?
Not at this stage in his career. Some fighters might want to go out in a blaze of glory fighting everyone and anyone. This isn't the case with Floyd. And him fighting a middleweight with punching power, in spite of his boxing skills and speed, is no bueno - not that I'm predicting who would win. I see TMT picking their next few matches very carefully.. however, IMO that fight would make a lot of money.

That's the way I see the GGG schedule shaping up. Would be nice if he fought Lara but it's starting to look like the Showtime/HBO thing will get in
        the way.
I hope Lara calls out Quillin. They're both on Showtime, under Golden Boy and it could be a good easily made fight.
Is Sturm a possibility? Not sure who he has contracts with.

They know. They also know that the promotional and network issus are the reason Floyd-Pac hasn't happen. If you notice, their responses have been along the lines of "I wish GGG-Lara could happen. But promotional issues will prevent it." They accept that when it comes to everybody but Floyd. Which is why they're all clowns.

Also, don't kid yourselves. Lara would get flattened, and easily. To say otherwise would be downright silly and ignorant. He is stepping up to 160 against the biggest puncher in the sport, who also happens to be a very good boxer.

            Get real.
Or maybe Lara would take the Monte Carlo venue, after the Andy Lee fight... Who knows?

Loaffler is claiming that Quillin is supposedly "HBO approved." If this is the case, then at least as far as it concerns the middleweight division, the cold war is no issue. It's an opponent issue. If they're approving the likes of Andy Lee, they better approve Lara.

Sturm would never come over here to fight GGG. Matter of fact, even though I've been critical of GGG. Sturm wouldn't fight GGG if GGG came to his house, fought in his backyard, and agreed to fight with one arm tied behind his back.

BTW, can't really blame Sturm for not wanting to fight over here aftr what they did to him in the DLH fight.

If Kirkland could win 1 or 2 fights at MW, he becomes more relevent - but for me, it's just a kinda unecessary fight for Golovkin.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Lee for April so we get (hopefully)..

                  Lee
                  Geale
                  Maravilla

With the possibility of Kirkland filling in either of the second 2 slots if they don't come together.
I agree I don't see why Kirkland would be relevant right now. Lee Geale and Martinez all have common factors. Those fights make sense. Not a Kirkland.
Ideally I would throw a Sturm and Quillin but..

Told here: maybe Lara would look for a Monte Carlo fight, later...
