It's certainly possible that he can beat Maidana without damage, but its just as possible that he could sustain damage as well. Of couse, one punch can swell an eye, bloody a nose, or wobble someone.

I've never seen Floyd with any swelling but he has been hurt and has sustained a bloody nose.

Can you imagine if Maidana stunned or dropped Mayweather, even if it's the only punch he landed all night?

        NSB would be a madhouse.

          Bigger guys? Yes.

          Bigger punchers? No.

Adrien Broner couldn't successfully walk down Maidana without eating everything but the kitchen sink. I mean, Maidana landed every punch that exists in boxing. Note, that Roger Mayweather referred to Broner as "a tough mother****er." Roger also said that Broner is a "physically strong mother****er." Source: a Chris Robinson video.

In a subtle, indirect way I got the vibe that Roger was implying Broner was tougher and stronger in comparison to Floyd Jr. Well, that's the objective inference I made, at least.

Clearly, the blueprint to beating Maidana is not walking him down. You never linger in the killzone against a savvy puncher. Mayweather would need to run for dear life and hold on for dear life. In between all the running and holding he would need to find small openings to pot shoot. Frankly, I don't think a one-shot-at-a-time approach is gonna stop Maidana's brutal offense. Even if you hurt Chino -- or put him down -- he still comes after you. Mayweather, as great as he is, is not immune to this.

Maidana would win no more than 2 rounds against Mayweather.

You neglect to include detail in your opinion.

Specifically, what is Mayweather going to do to stop Maidana's violent assault? I'm not sure that pot shotting would be enough to stop Maidana.

Would you expect me to give a detailed opinion on how a Prime Mike Tyson would beat David Price?
