It's possible. He is a fine defensive fighter and he has fought some tough guys without getting hurt. Maidana is a lot more likely to hurt him than Khan is. Maidana will be trying like hell to hurt him every minute of every round and he certainly hits hard enough to hurt Mayweather.

But then again Floyd's speed has to be decreasing, however unnoticeable it may be
He getting faster and stronger. More versitile too. Against Ghost he was very slow. But then he was a completely different fighter against Canelo. I think your one of those guys that compares Floyd's speed to his opponents he's in the ring with. You may not be able to notice the difference between this Mayweather and that Mayweather. Everytime he came off those layoffs, it seem to me like it was different versions of him. Where the speed was different, or the manerisms where different. The feints he used against Ghost I have never seen him use. The body movements, the way he leans forward, sideways. He reverted back to the old Floyd when he fought Canelo but was fast af, and strong as hell.

Marcos is not half as strong as Canelo. Floyd took a few shots from Nelo and when he did, he smirked and got right back to him. Marcos is too small and weak for Floyd. He is not even as STRONG as Floyd. Floyd is way stronger and bigger ever since he got out of jail, and its NO WAY Marcos could walk down Canelo. NEVER. Floyd did. He will batter Marcos, and eat his shots like skittles.

Maidana is tooo slow and predictable

He won 1 round against Devon and he was lucky to get that

A boxer with half a brain causes all kinds of problems for Maidana, we've seen it time and time again

Floyd would beat maidana easily. Imo he is actually tko's maidana in about round 9 or 10. Why you ask? That's easy. Maidana gasses and he can be hurt and floyd punches harder than people think he does especially against an opponent who will be moving into his counters. To answer the ts direct question, NO, floyd won't take any damage of consequence. Maidan can't beat floyd centre ring, on the ropes or in the pocket. Hell Floyd would start backing maidana up once he tires, and chino can't fight off the back foot. As for posters like pacs cum stain aka pac boy his rhetoric would change in an instant if floyd were fighting chino or indeed if it happens in the future. This whole saga has him sufficiently hyped as an opponent for one of floyds next three bouts.

Marcos is offensive minded and he cant fight going backwards. Floyd is going to stand in the pocket and overpower Marcos like he did Canelo. Canelo is twice as big and strong as Marcos and Floyd manhandled him and was the aggressor. Floyd has gotten bigger and stronger since leaving jail so I expect it to be like the Canelo fight but way worse. Marcos is a small little dude who is too weak for Floyd.

As far as Marcos' angles, Floyd makes adjustments. He is able to bodyscan an opponent after a few rounds, then he knows what angles their punches will come from. The fact that Marcos throws those wild shots will not matter. Notice how Broner was walking Marcos down and pushing him back. It will be identical to that but way worse.

One thing I want to point out is that against Canelo, anytime Canelo got frustrated Floyd started retreating to let the big boy blow off some steam. But against Marcos, since he's so much weaker than Floyd, Floyd is not going to care about any of that. Floyd is going to wrestle with Marcos and use his 'Grown-Man-Strength' to force him around. Floyd also walked Ortiz down. Floyd wrestled with Ortiz more so than he did with Canelo. The Floyd who fought Ortiz is allot weaker than the buffed up Floyd who fought Canelo. And Marcos, at ww, is allot smaller and weaker than Ortiz at the time he fought Floyd.

Some wont agree with this but I expect Floyd to stop Marcos. Yea Marcos has a chin but allot are not really taking heed to Floyd's newfound power and force. The Floyd who slapped up JMM would not have the power to buckle Ghost and cut his eye. That Floyd would be WAAAY too weak to walk down Canelo. But ask yourself this; Can Marcos walk down Canelo?

                  No way.

Marcos is too small, slow, wild, weak, and defenseless for Floyd. Expect him to go backwards all night. Expect Floyd to put on a show.
Just say it -- you don't like Maidana. Well, that's you.

You ask a question and then when you don't like the answers coming back at you, you proceed to change the argument by dismissing it's source with an infantile and facile accusation. This is why these boards are down in the gutter.
