Maidana is way faster and has significantly more damaging punches than Baldomir.

        What do you mean?

        Carlos Manuel Baldomir - won 49 (KO 15) + lost 15 (KO 3) + drawn 6 = 70
        rounds boxed 576 KO% 21.43

        Marcos Rene Maidana - won 35 (KO 31) + lost 3 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 38
        rounds boxed 169 KO% 81.58

Maidana has lightyears more punching power than Baldomir. Baldomir is a workman, whereas Maidana is a wreckingball. Let's see Mayweather outbox a wreckingball instead of a workman.

You said "Let's hope so." in response to my post "Maidana has significantly more damaging punches than Baldomir."

I thought you were implying Maidana wasn't a bigger puncher than Baldomir. If this is not what you meant I apologize.

I don't see Maidana "landing" more than 15-20 power shots. It will look like Hopkins-Pavlik but worse because Mayweather has more left.

This is how I see it going. Although I do think Maidana has a chance to land a Hail Mary like Mosley

No problem. Do you think Maidana has "significantly more damaging punches" than Canelo? Corrales? Ect?

                  Is it worth exploring?

Mosley is faster than Maidana though
                    And better technically
I really don't think Marcos has much for Floyd but he deserves a shot

In a fighter meeting Josesito Lopez was asked, "Who is the biggest puncher you ever fought."

Lopez fought Jesse Vargas, Victor Ortiz, Saul Alvarez, and Marcos Maidana.

Lopez made it a point that Marcos Maidana has the hardest single punch he's ever felt. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae-HUvh9y20&feature=********&t=12m2s
I respect Lopez for admitting that.

Lopez made sure that the guys interviewing him separate Maidana and all the other opponents.
