Oh well, Deontay Wilder fights golf caddies and failed basketball players, so that's how it goes.

deontay wilder is a joke but as the recognised undisputed, universally recognised, true, lineal heavyweight champion of the world, wlad has a responsibility to fight guys other than lepai.

      i rest my case...

Maybe it's not a bodybuilding contest, but when a guy who always looked carved up before steps into the ring looking like he spent training camp eating Russian dumplings and drinking vodka, it's not a good sign.

Personally, I thought he and Pulev should have fought, but I'm not in charge of these corrupt orgs and their mandatories and such.

What does that have to do with what I said, Wilder is a prospect he is not fighting for the heavyweight title~.

Also Kevin Johnson is a pro fighter, Leapai is actually a professional deliveryman that is his real job~ Wilder is just a fighter also he doesn't do other stuff.

No doubt, but I mean the guy isn't the biggest heavyweight and being so bulked probably didn't help. However, if he could not overcome coming in out of shape for 1 fight against a fighter who was not even ranked at the time shows that he isn't or wasn't a particular great fighter to begin with. Leapai wasn't exactly in sculpted condition himself either...

Well, Boytsov hadn't lost before when he was actually in shape, so what can I tell ya?

Coming in fat and with obviously not much cardio training sure didn't do anything for him.

Leapai has good power and while he isn't a great aesthetic boxer he can hurt anybody in the division if they take him too lightly. Boytsov obviously did.

World champion Muhammad Ali fought professional bouncer Chuckie Wepner and went 15 rounds including getting knocked down. Marciano fought in mob-arranged fights, knocking out bartenders and cabbies.

The point being that somebody like Leapai being a truck driver fighting a highly ranked guy or even a world champion is not anything new in boxing. Next to the Bayonne Bleeder, Leapai looks pretty good.

Ali won that fight easily and Marciano won those fights also. Wilder is another example he destroyed all those guys. Roy Jones fought a policeman when Jones was clearly the best fighter in the world, and that fight looked exactly like that a policeman against the best fighter in the world.

You are just proving my point, pro fighters beat a professional worker every time.

Where did I say Leapai or any of these Rocky types usually win?

However, a strong guy like Leapai can punch, so even if he's crappy otherwise, if you're not serious about the fight, you can get caught, as Boytsov, who is to my knowledge only a pro boxer and not a bartender, found out.

My real point was such matchups are nothing new, and they aren't. It's not like Ali fought Foremans and Fraziers every time out either.
