Where did I say Leapai or any of these Rocky types usually win?
However, a guy like Leapai can punch, so even if he's ****ty otherwise, if you're not serious about the fight, you can get caught, as Boytsov, who is to my knowledge only a pro boxer, found out.
My real point was such matchups are nothing new, and they aren't.
I never said they were new, that had nothing to do with what I said in the first place.
I said that is what happens when a pro fighter fights a professional delivery man, and that is exactly the case 99.9% of the time.
I don't care if Wlad fights this dude, Wlad has nothing pressing to take care of so he can do what he wants, but that doesn't change the fact he will probably knock him out with a jab~

Probably, but if he happens to get lazy and Leapai checks his chin, anything can happen.
The ghost of Corrie Sanders is still out there, and Wlad doesn't have Emanuel any more to guide him and calm him down.
That's why the HW division is always interesting. Even a guy like Leapai has a chance, however slim. Even a bum like Wepner knocked Ali down.
A clown like Rahman KO'd the great Lennox Lewis.

You never know.
I don't think I have seen a 1 in 1,000 chance come through in a fight in a long time maybe it is due~
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be better footage but here is upcoming HW challenger Leapai getting stopped by the Safety Pin - not sure who has saw this already.
Is it just the way it is being recorded or am I going crazy but Leapai looks like he got shot when he was getting hurt by Johnson, but it looks like the punches aren't even landing...in any case you can imagine what Wlad will do to this guy as his tactics of leading in head first, pushing into the opponent and throwing slow looping shots will not work. I don't buy though how people can say Leapai is 'durable' if he was stopped by Johnson??
the only people who say he is durable are people who worship wlad & are making excuses for him fighting him. they are trying to justify this disgrace of a title fight...

Well, it IS a mandatory.
So to blame it all on Wlad is a bit unfair.
He should be fighting Pulev, who was at his peak at the end of 2012 and is just going to do himself harm fighting guys like Joey Abell.
But I'm not making the rules, so.......
As far as Leapai being durable, I have no idea. I do think he can punch, though. Wlad has been rattled by guys who don't punch as hard as Leapai.
