It kind of undermines a division of contenders, a world title and to an extent the sport.

Most of all, it's so ****ing weird to see a world title fight with a measly (1-0) record next to the contender.

Unless of course it's Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, because he did that all the time.

Dude is a two time Olympic gold medalist with probably close to 400 amateur fights. Would you rather he waste the next decade fighting people you never heard of? That's applauded nowadays.

Lomachenko has a fan for life in me. In a day where Olympians go pro and fight about 30 bums in a decade. This cat coming out and fighting arguably the best fighter in his division in only his second fight. He can fight. He knows it. So let's do the damn thang. Far cry from these jokes who get their balls massaged for fighting tomato can after tomato can. And this kid is 25. So he could easily join some of his fellow Olympians in the bum of the month club for a couple years and get applauded for doing it. Win or lose, I f.ucks with dude.

Amen. This man emulates what a true fighter is all about. Im a fan of GGG but my biggest critique of him is the amount of "build up" fights he has taken, given his pedigree. Golovkin should have had multiple fights with certified opponents at this point. Lomo taking on one of the div's top in his second pro fight.

What i will also say though is that Team Lomo knows their limits as they have openly stated that they were not ready for the likes of Rigo yet. Still gutsy to attempt to take out a man like Salido though!

Thats what im saying i would rather have loma fight solido then some unknown fighter who most of us will not watch the fight

You better hope that Loma wins cause if he loses or gets knocked out then that is his career path for the next couple of fights.

Yeah I was a lil taken back by them not wanting Rigo next. But can't complain too much. Plus, Rigo was talking some goofy **** about wanting a 124 catchweight. Really???
