Insane how big of an underdog Salido is here...almost 5-1
I like Salido here
Dude fought debut opponents well after 80 fightsIt kind of undermines a division of contenders, a world title and to an extent the sport.
Most of all, it's so ****ing weird to see a world title fight with a measly (1-0) record next to the contender.
Unless of course it's Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, because he did that all the time.Comment

Its prize fighting, your name is your brand-whatever you say about the Loma its irrelevant, his current status allows him to do what he's doing.Comment

Loma will completely outclass him, mad to say about a man with 1 pro fight behind him but he will take Salido to pieces and stop him around the 9th round. I honestly believe this man will be p4p 1 before he has had 10 fights, so good its silly. His record of 396-1 at amateur level is incredible and justifies him moving straight to top level.Last edited by hogey; 02-12-2014, 04:03 AM.Comment

What this guy said...
You can develop yourself into a top athlete in the amateurs and I personally think Loma has done that.
Fighting past those later rounds ofcourse will always have some people sketch as to whether he has the heart but that's what good preparation and training is for, he went quite far with his first opponent just for a first fight and he looked very good.
Who knows what will happen in this one but I'm rooting for Loma, he is definitely good for boxing.Comment

Serious?
It's kinda a risk without really knowing Lomas status as a pro, but hell, those are odds I'd take any time.
Dammit - can't wait for this fight...gonna be counting down the days.
EDIT - ah so he's the favourite then....I was assuming you meant Salido was -600. That makes more sense. Still I think Salidos being undersold there, he ain't anybodys pushover.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 02-12-2014, 06:42 AM.Comment
