Not what I mean, it doesn't count losses as good, but a competetive decision loss to andre ward is better than beating some bums and doing nothing. Shows you can atleast hang with top dogs

What in the f-ck has PPV's got to do with it? Money is a small aspect that *****s care about as though they did 2.2 million buys lol

cant believe credible posters are saying resume is losses!!

lets put journeymen into the hall of fame!
Every fight you've had is a part of who you are as a boxer. It's just like life, you are what you do. It's your curriculum vitae. Losses happen, just like the wins and we can see whether a fighter grows because of them or if he doesn't.

Your last line though, makes me think I don't understand entirely what you're asking.

jas, dude, its not that losses "count"

its that WHO a fighter chooses to fight factors into his status. Cotto, for example, has lost to Floyd and Manny...and while he doesnt get credit in terms of a win/loss, it shows us what kind of fighter he is.

im asking what makes a resume so when someone asks you who has a better resume you say a certain fighter based on either:

                      - wins if you think thats what a resume is
                      - all fights if you think thats what it is
