    What is resume?

    - just wins

    - wins and controversial losses which should have been wins (e.g. pacquaio-bradley)

    - wins, controversial losses and "special losses" (losses vs great fighters in close or epic fights)

    - all fights

Edit: in light of shocking poll results: resume in terms of when comparing fighters.

All your fights, like a job resume. Your past experiences on the job. At least that's how I look at it.

Everything you've done in your craft.

Who you've fought? Who've you beaten/lost to? What version of them did you fight? How you beat them/or were beaten? Titles and accomplishments to an extent. I even count commerciality and entertainment value. It's everything you've done in the ring that we can judge you on.

You asked what is resume, not what is a great resume. Resume = all fights along with the PPV numbers it did or ratings.

Obviously wins and controversial losses are the biggest factor in who has the better resume, but certain losses should count. Juan Manuel Marquez giving Manny Pacquiao 3 great fights before the KO in the 4th, despite getting losses in 2 of them, is a better thing to mention than beating up on nobodies. So is Cotto doing much better than expected against Mayweather in their fight.

Doing better than expected against great fighters should be looked at as a positive, though how positive depends on a variety of circumstances.
