Every fight you've had is a part of who you are as a boxer. It's just like life, you are what you do. It's your curriculum vitae. Losses happen, just like the wins and we can see whether a fighter grows because of them or if he doesn't.

jas, dude, its not that losses "count"
its that WHO a fighter chooses to fight factors into his status. Cotto, for example, has lost to Floyd and Manny...and while he doesnt get credit in terms of a win/loss, it shows us what kind of fighter he is.Comment
