You stll on this lol. Ask yourself, how many gbp fighters appeared on hbo since gbp kicked out. Like this promoter says, the opponent must be approved by the network cause they foot the bill

I also called BS on everyone saying Floyd was ducking, not least cos GGG never called him out anyway (nor was in any position to do so without looking foolish) even if the promo war hadn't prvented it. And for the record, I've never said Floyd ducked anyone (though I've gotta admit I'm underwhelmed by the choice of Khan for an opponent).

As for Lee, yes, there can realistically be only one outcome, but that doesn't necessarily make Lee a bad fighter, just one who'll be badly overmatched (although bear in mind he was outboxing jr) and stopped.

Naturally Geale would have been a very much preferred option, but he didn't want it, and as you correctly point out, Lee has both name recognition and a built in fanbase which should make for a good night at MSG (one reason. of course why Stevens was the big frontrunner for the Nov 2 fight over say, Mora).
In fairness you have been even so I owe you that. GGG has a tremendous skill set and looks to be a tough cat. I see why he has blown up. But posters need to treat him the same whether he is the "a" or the "b".

I hope Gaele makes a fight too. But its hard to fault everyone but GGG for doing the same thing-fighting the most profitable/easiest fight until the fight with Sergio materializes.

yea, proska's a beast. ggg's trainer said thats their biggest win.

quote from ggg's trainer abel sanchez september 2012:

How big of a star do you believe Gennady can become?

"You know what, by next September you are going to be talking about him being the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world. I think we need about three fights."

You keep mentioning HBO, is Gennady an HBO fighter now?

No, not necessarily yet. We haven’t signed any kind of agreement but HBO is the one who took a chance on him so Gennady is thinking he’s got to be loyal to the company that did take a chance.

if no-one knows, you mean to tell me all these fanboys and media havent asked that 1 question to ggg's team?

Respect, bro. Abel's right. Jim Lampley already has him in his top 5 p4p rankings.

No....this is a major boxing promoter responding to a fight invitation that's been made on social media. The question is genuine.

It's not 'don't be silly you're not on GGGs level'

It's 'Is this a genuine offer?'

Which is probably the most appropriate response under the circumstances.
I'm not sure if Lara's replied yet though given his circumstances and ability I'm sure he's serious. But I don't think he's gonna get an offer he likes.

It would be career suicide to dump HBO after all they've invested in him to fight Lara (or anyone not named Floyd Mayweather).
