Its clear GGG will take any big money fight or any opponent he can KO at 160. Cool. But when the other guys at 160 do the same thing don't get mad.

He wants floyd, wont fight Lara, wont fight Ward, but will jump at Lee and is looking for James Kirkland moving up from 154.

GGG's fans would never laud another fighter with his resume, even if they had KO's just like GGG.
In all honestly, I like Lara, but am I missing something or is that fight not possible? He fought Vanes on the Top Rank card because the sanctioning bodies mandated that fight...... There is no way Lara can fight Golovkin, or am I missing something?

This isn't exactly the same thing.... but remember when Quillin wasn't with GBP and he turned down the Golovkin fight, then after being behind the network dispute starting calling him out when he knew the fight was not possible? Lara never turned down a fight, but isn't this kind of similar?

Murray (the lineal champ) turned the fight down, no? DiBella clearly said Martinez wasn't interested. We all know what happened with Quillin. Sturm doesn't want it. Geale can possibly happen but I believe he might of turned down an HBO offer.

Who is left? Everyone just wants him to go up and fight Ward, but he has every right to wait for Martinez-Cotto and try to fight Martinez and solidify himself as the best at 160..... the problem is people here are annoyed that Golovkin gets talked about every week and has a lot of fans so these arguements about his resume always happen. Everyone just needs to be patient. IMO

Oh okay. Never saw the fight, I just checked boxrec

          (seriously)

Either way, I like Lara, but that fight is not possible. If it could happen, cool. I expect multiple page threads about Golovkin fighting/beating another 154lber

People are calling for Geale, and ALREADY since that fight is close to becoming a reality the same people are calling him a bum.
Seems like you know something others don't. I don't care for Geale so what's the point? You think a victory over Lara would be dismissed? Do explain why if you could. I know GGG brings those jmw's up from time to time, but why would Lara be looked ass a bad win. I don't see it

I'm not worried about it, Golovkin is just going to keep doing his business in the ring and you're going to keep tuning in
Can't tell you which fight I saw last from him. maybe Macklin. I missed Ishida, Adama, Stevens and Rosado. Didn't catch ouma, nor will I tune in if he keeps fighting these murderers row type opponents. Savvy?

              thats the whole point....

those guys dont want it but here we have someone that is challenging him and ggg's promoter comes out the next day and tweets some absolute bs making excuses for the fight not to happen.

                it isnt rocket science.

who is the best available competition for ggg?

because other fighters have fights, the answer is lara.

Lets put it this way, would you rather have GGG fight Kirkland, Andy Lee or Lara? I think the answer is obvious, no?

If you can understand the reasons they can't fight then you understood the reasons he couldn't fight other Showtime fighters or GBP fighters yet that didn't stop you and other GGG fans from making uttery ridiculous posts. The network politics are no different than when GGG was discussing his "dream fight".

QUillin not fighting GGG has nothing to do with the response his promoter gave. Quillin hasn't been going with the "i'll fight anyone from 154-168" stuff either. Lara, Mora, ward. The list is getting bigger by the minute.

Like you said, you don't care who GGG fights. You just want to see him KO whoever he fights. Cool. But that doesn't make him the best MW or anything else.

Its still early in the year. But if we get to Sept/Oct and GGG has beaten adam, lee and kirkland up from 154, then you and the rest of GGG's diehard fans should be prepared for fair criticism.
