    (seriously)

Either way, I like Lara, but that fight is not possible. If it could happen, cool. I expect multiple page threads about Golovkin fighting/beating another 154lber

One of the biggest robberies in recent memory. Williams knew he lost.

It's not exactly the same but Lara is an opponent that would bring a similiar skill set into the ring with GGG. Granted, GGG wouldn't make anywhere near as much money, which is the real reason he wont go to 154 for this fight but his fanbase that posts regularly on NSB would never admit this.

I also saw what you wrote about Andy Lee. You know that his ranking as a top 10 MW has more to do with his promoter affiliation and less to do with his actual wins and losses.
Dunno about this (bolded) Dunn, GGGs team made it clear that GGG would only go down to 154 for a big (money) fight, and it's regularly repeated on NSB by various posters.

As for Andy Lee, I'd probably have him a few places lower than the 9 of the TBRB (although I generally find thir Rankings pretty good), but he's a long way from the stiff that he seems to be presented as. H2H he's probably close or equal to the Macklins, Barkers and Murrays of the world - possibly in fact he's more dangerous in ways, though probably less durable.

Would I prefer a Geale or a Lara? Naturally. but we know Lara ain't happening and we know why and Geale..well yes...lets just hope he doesn't turn it down next time he's offered.

SO then say I'll fight anyone from 154-168 so long as it is finacially viable. Stop with the BS. GGG is just as money motivated as any pro fighter.

You know Lee got this fight because he will help fill the THeatre at MSG with loud fans who will purchase plenty of beer from the vendors. If you saw the Chavez fight this fight is a BLOWOUT on paper.

Like I said, if you know why Lara isn't happening then you knew the same thing when GGG brought up his dream fight Yet very few GGG fans brought up these reasons then-then it was scared, ducking etc. Its awfully hard to get mad when posters now apply the label to GGG.

GGG has world class skills. Put them to the test!

                • what's with these morons insinuating golovkin should move down for lara?

whoever makes the call-out that's the one who should make the move in weight. if lara wants golovkin he should move to 160. same as when golovkin called out floyd he should move down to 154.

                    Lara calls out GGG!
NSB Response: How dare he! Nobody wants to see this fight! What makes him so great! This is a bad fight! GGG won't get credit if he wins! Showtime, HBO, GBP Arum, GOD, The air the earth, the Sun, the Moon etc..
Floyd holds titles at 154lbs... Is the biggest name in boxing and will guarantee alot of recognition on top of that a good pay day.

Lara wanting a fight with GGG at 154lbs?
I don't get it... If GGG calls out Andre Ward (whom I may add said he'd be willing to go down to 160lbs to fight Floyd) why don't people mention that?

I wouldn't mind seeing the fight at a catchweight if GGG intends on moving down to 154lbs to compete in that division but from what it looks more like is that GGG just wanted that one big name to fight then move his way through MW to SMW.

Could you imagine If we just got rid of these super divisions, problem solved less need for people ducking (Martinez) and more room for competitive divisions.

If GGG should move down for Lara then Andre Ward should man up and move down to 160lbs and fight Quillin/GGG/Martinez...
