Not necessarily! I like GGG but he has a tendency to loop his punches and that is a big no no against a lightening quick and accurate tactician like Lara. Need I mention the quick foot work and tight defense? Lara will simply be hard to track down all night and when Lara gets off he will not be there for the return.

GGG will need more than just power to win this one. If GGG doesn't win by knockout and he will be favored to do so, he will absolutely lose a decision.

I like Lara by 12 round UD.

You need to put CONSTANT pressure on Lara to be effective. Lara has a good jab and is a counter puncher, so once GGG gets caught with a few flush counters, he will be more cautious as he gets "surprised" when he gets tagged. He doesn't get fazed per se, but he realizes that he can't just pounce on a guy and attack, he uses a more methodical approach which is going to play right into Lara's game. He was cautious against Adama who is half as skilled as Lara is. Yet, GGG is an offensive minded fighter by nature which is always going to leave him vulnerable to a skilled counter-puncher.

Ask Macklin about GGG's constant pressure. Doesn't mean swinging non stop. This fight happens and I'll bet you all my points

How do you figure? Lara doesn't fare that well vs pressure guys like Angulo or even Freddy Hernandez, who are levels below ggg

I'm sick of these fake challenges. The only way to make it look genuine is inform everyone what they've done so far to make it happen. Have they talked to Schaefer? Have they talked to GG's team? Have they discussed the issues that could possibly come out? No. They know damn well it's not going to happen.

I'll wait and see how this develops. GGG's next 3 fights are with HBO so the fight has to happen on HBO. They say it shouldn't be too much of a problem so we'll see. Golovkin by KO if this fight happens. Too many people overrating Lara lately smh.

End of the GGG hype is almost here. What is good about Lara? You'll find out when he boxes the ears off GGG but no, no Lara will get no credit as usual it'll be a three point turn & the same guys who hyped GGG too death will be saying he was overrated, a bum, exposed etc

Not only Lara is counter puncher. Look at Oustin Trout fight. He was making combos on him easily. He is very close to Lomachenko, in boxing skills. The hardesd figth for poor ggg, who was just lookin for title unification not for such scrap

Overrate someone with 300-10 record in ameteurs, who was fighting since 12, who was goi g to win gold before he left Cuba? He has everythin, he knows a lot in boxing. Angulo was able to hit him cause he consumed 1000 punches on face. We are talking about Angulo with 100 pro fights

I think this would be a good fight...I like Lara's attitude abt moving up. Wish GGG would have a similar view since he seems to be unable to secure good fights at MW
