I've just talked with Golovkin in private at social network. He told me that he's going to wait for Martinez (after April's bout) and make him a good offer to fight him at the end of the year if he wins Cotto and not gets injured.
Also he said that Oscar De La Hoya is going to push Showtime to make a fight between him and Peter Quillin.
About Andre Ward's situation... he said he's ready and willing to fight him but HBO blocks it at this point.
About Lara's situation... he said that he's surprised Lara calling him out but if he's ready to move up and HBO approves that bout he will contact him to discuss the details and terms of the fight for sure.
And finally... he will move up straight to the north at 168 in 2015 if all goes well.

GGG's trainer will say something like Lara isn't a big enough name and hasn't done anything at 160 to earn a shot at GGG. Then two weeks later, it'll be confirmed that GGG will fight Kirkland next, lol.

I have to agree with you! And none of GGG's fan will ever claim he is ducking Lara to fight more attractive money making fights. Which is understandable.

But when a fighter they don't like does it he is ducking.
