Is PRIME Ricky Hatton underrated?

Ruslan Provodnikov and Lucas Matthysse would wreck Ricky at 140!
Danny vs Ricky would be a good fight, Danny is constantly surprising me so I think he may outbox him over 12... Never seen him take a full blooded body shot thoughComment

Don't know about Tzsyu being shot, but I'm not a fan of how Hatton beat him. It was just an ugly wrestling match.Comment

He overachieved hugely given his skill level and physical attributes. He literally couldn't straighten his arms to throw a proper jab.
I think he maxed out the night he fought Tyszu. Just left everything in the ring that night and was never going to top that win.Comment

It's like this Hatton loses to Pacmana and Floyd and he's considered a bum.
Cotto loses to Floyd, Cotto, Trout, Margarito, Clottey should've won too and he's so much better.
I don't know if Floyd knocks Ricky Hatton out at 140. Ricky should've never played with his weight and go up to 147. Collazo proved that.
No contest... And if you can formulate an unbiased opinion and say who you you think would win at 140 if they'd fought?Comment

I thought he was damn good in his prime -- bottom half of the pound for pound list. But you could see the flaws that would eventually do him in. He had the perfect style to maul Tszyu and then an underrated Collazo exposed him, a fight I thought Hatton lost. He lost the fire after the Mayweather loss and you could see he wasn't the same against Lazcano. I don't think there's a strong case for HOF but he was an elite fighter at his peak.Comment

His footspeed was very quick, good angles (When he wanted to), good power (Not great but he could crack), strong, viscious body shots and a whole lot of heart.Comment

When he was fighting he was very overrated.
I'd say right now, he's underrated.
He had a whole lot of flaws and made a whole lot of mistakes but he was tough, quick feet, closed the gap well (Especially early in fights) good power, good body shots and tough tough tough guy.
He was a good fighter for sure. Not HOF calibur but a good fighter for his day.
I wonder what you think of the likes of Gtati and McGuigan making it into the HOF.
What do you think of the case for Eubank and Naz being in the HOF....they're not there yet but wana know if you think they should?Comment
