Yeah he fought bigger guys but how does that make him small for the weight? He's not small for the weight he comes to the ring at 170 lbs. How is he small for the weight when he comes to the ring 10 lbs north? Doesn't make sense.

Your comparison would make sense if Mayweather came to the ring at 164, 10 lbs north of 154. But instead he comes to the ring at 150, 4 lbs south!!

Plus, 160 is Martinez 3rd weight class, 154 is Mayweather's 5th. Mayweather can't even get as high as 154 whilst Martinez comes to the ring at 170 lbs. Not the same at all, to be honest.
Martinez was not 170lb against Pav..He looked small as hell,I really don't believe he was 170lb for that fight..Now he might have grown into the weight over time..He has not always been the weight he is now..Or when he was ready to fight Floyd and move down..We really have gotten off track tho, which is Martinez was willing to fight Mayweather at 154lb..It would have been a big fight, and more importantly,it would have been a dangerous fight..

I respect Tim's decision but it sounds like he is regurgitating what Deboeff told his wife.
so if its not in the GBP contract that tim will face floyd, then tim will not sign so where does tim go from here? now he cant run back to TR, LOL!

He's always been 165-170 range. He went into camp for Williams above 170 lbs.

That's not a small MW, he's not a small MW. He's not as big as some of the others but fact remains he's not a small MW.

And again, Martinez, Lara these situations are not the same as a possible Bradley one. If Bradley had exclusively fought at 154 and up then it would be the same but the highest he's fought is WW and that's his weight so it's not.

He was 167 for Pavlik. Again, Sergio is not a "small MW".

Didn't know Martinez was in his stable or weight class. And why the hell would he fight Lara?

No guarantee is right, Floyd doesn't like fighting other black boxers, he learned from the Judah fight. Only shot brothers like Moseley. He will only want to fight Hispanics.

I dont think as highly of bradley as you all do so IMO this was a very smart decision. He gets big guarantees for fighting lesser opposition. TR stable is dry so he is considered one of the big dogs and thats not a bad way to live

TR would have always been the better deal..They have more money then GBP and would offer him more fights at a higher per fight fee..It's clear,I really don't believe anybody should have to go to a nego table to find that out either..Just look at what Tim has made..What WW or Jr WW,hell even JMW has made this much on GBP not named Mayweather(who is not even in the GBP stable)or Alvarez??
A lot of GB have haymon on their team so they are getting paid way more than any TR fighter. Also you keep mentioning Alvarez and Floyd, but you fail to mention that Bradley is TR's biggest fighter outside of Manny, so his fee's should get compared to those two. Btw Broner gets millions on Showtime fights

Bad move Bradley (Mrs. Bradley). If you lose this next fight, then what? Ruslan? Marquez won't ask to rematch a guy with no belt. I doubt Manny is looking for Pac-Bradley 3. At least with GBP you have a nice roster of fights for you even without Floyd. On top of that, you only getting $6 million and Manny is getting $20 million. That's disrespectful! I understand feeding your family, but DAMN. Good Luck anyway!
