Mayweather only fights above his weight class for big money fights. Such as Oscar, Cotto and Canelo. He's not a Jr MW but he'll move up and be very small if the pay day is worth it.

That's not the case at WW.
Mayweather will make 40mill if he were to fight Lara..I have a hard time seeing how this does not measure up as a big fight..Anytime Mayweather fights IMO its a big fight..It's who he is in the sport at this point..

      Bradley

I like Bradley. He doesn't suck up to Mayweather. Bradley is his own man, but he doesn't have a chance against Pacquiao.

He made a lot more for Cotto and Canelo and obviously made a lot more than he was used to when he fought Oscar.

He only fights above his weight class for big big money, I don't see where you keep getting lost?

Of course every fight he'll have he'll make a lot of money but for him to move above his weight class it's got to be very big money. Like....A Cotto fight, or a Canelo fight. He's not going to move up to a weight he's small and uncomfortable at and fight Lara, or Molina etc.

That's not the case at 147, his actual weight class. Where Bradley fights.

I don't know how this can be made any simpler.

So was Pacquiao when Martinez offered to fight him at 150. Where is the mention of Pac ducking Martinez?

My point is(and has been since the start of this thread) Lara is the best fight for Mayweather..He would make just as much fighting Lara,as he would fighting Khan or Maidana..Yet he is not fighting him..This is why I do not feel it's a lock he'd fight Timmy..It is simple really what I'm saying..

I don't remember what page, but in this very thread I said the same thing about PAC..If PAC is going to hold a belt at 154lb, them he should fight the top fighters within that div..

But I've explained to you literally multiple times why Lara is not the same as Khan, Maidana, Guererro, Ortiz or Tim Bradley.

Do you understand it or shall I do it again?

Lara, Khan, Maidana, Bradley are all around the same money wise (There or there abouts)

But Mayweather is not going to fight that calibur of opponent(money wise) above his weight class (154).

He will, however, at his weight class (147), because he's not uncomfortable. He only fights at an uncomfortable weight class for big big fights I.e Cotto, Canelo, Oscar etc.

Hence, why Bradley, and the rest of these guys situations are not the same as the Lara one.

                  It's very simple.

Pacquiao dropped his belt pretty much immediately. I think he said within a week or two of the Margarito fight that he wasn't going to fight above welterweight again.
