Arum: Froch, Ward or Golovkin next for Chavez in July

Ward drew 8500 fans in his hometown against the reigning LHW Champion in a superfight, had 5000 against Bika, Golovkin can draw around 5000 (the capacity) in NY at the MSG ballroom against largely unknown contenders. Golovkin gets higher ratings, costs less and is a much more fan friendly matchup against Chavez for getting casual fans interested. All things considered seems reasonable to believe Golovkin would be the more attractive option for HBO.Comment

Why would it make more? Gggs recent numbers are better as is viewer satisfaction. Plus he's much cheaper. Not much of a clue on ya eh?Comment

I guarantee you, Ward is Chavez's first option, if that fight gets turned down and Froch doesn't happen, then and only THEN will GGG be considered. Boxing isn't always as logical as you guys seem to think it is.Comment
