Isn't his contract for years though? I dunno, maybe Ward thinks he's going to become a big star with Top Rank but imo he's already overpaid and moving to TR didn't exactly work for Tim Bradley in terms of star status (although he did get top fights).

Signed on until 2015.... and all this inactivity really isn't helping him.
He wants to be a star, but he's only fighting once a year. Yea... it'd work if he was already at that level... but he's still trying to get to that Star level.

Chavez fight might help him....but doubt he gets it unless he's signed with Top Rank

I doubt it'll have hispanic fans dying to watch him again. I think Ward really needs something outside of the ring to become popular because inside the ring he doesn't even "do it" for many hardcore boxing fans, never mind casuals.

Well...he's super religious.... so he's got that going for him.
People seem to hop on it with Pac...but he's also from a country that's super religious.

Try and be in a movie with all the downtime you have.

Well, Goosen had hoped to get him in March/April after E-Rod....but that was before the lawsuit.

Ward said that things are looking positive....but haven't seen anything indicating that so far
