Well the best fighter he's fought is Macklin, so no not yet.

He looks good but he's still unproven.

Problem is that you have many who hype him up to be this unbeatable GOD then you have many who claim he's a hype-job horribly flawed BUM who in a matter of time will get "exposed".

As for me, I believe he's a really good fighter that has yet to be truly tested.

The hype is a little much, people want him to move up or even move down. At the same time many people say he has fought nobody.. its a business and people dont want to fight him, but apparently he hasnt established himself at all besides being a puncher.. not sure how great the hype is.

            Strengths
            • Accurate with all the punches he throws
            • Good to very good defence
            • Cuts the ring off as well as anyone in the sport right now
            • Patient
            • Good balance and in position to punch again after missing
            • At the very least he has a good chin, possibly great
            • Very accurate jab
            • His jab is probably the hardest jab in middleweight history
            • Every punch he throws is exceptionally hard
            • Probably one of the hardest punchers in middleweight history
            • Always seems to be in great condition
            • Looks completely focused and motivated
            • Is capable of throwing more than 100 punches in multiple rounds
            • He is stopping everyone and barely losing a round

            Weaknesses
            • Isn't as athletic as Ward
            • Not as effective going backwards
            • Has only been knocking out strong (top 10) and mediocre (top 30) world level contenders thus far

I've seen more hype for accomplishing even less,so why not.

Its fun to get hyped about a fighter. This is one of the reasons i follow boxing.

It must suck never to get hyped. If not GGG, who else in MW is worth hyping?

                  The weird one is right.

GGG has the skills to be great, but at the end of the day you have to prove it in the ring.

He is beatable though. Oddly enough I think Froch would be one of his worse style matchups.

He looks like he has the skills and power to go a long way so why shouldn't people be hyped. How lame would this sport be if all anybody could do was judge careers once they are over?

you see mike tyson after 20 fights ... he looks great ... has great skills ... power is knocking guys out ... are you guys saying you wouldn't have been hyped about tyson at that point in his career?

Do ye find it impossible to spot potential in a fighter or something is that it? Are ye unable to spot skills? Fair enough if so...

I'm looking forward to GGG fighting some tough competition this year and am hyped to see how it will go down ... strange that some people can't understand that. Must be kinda sad to only get hyped about a fighter when his career is on the down turn and he has already had his great wins ... which seems to be the alternative

Not yet, maybe later but you can see flaws that a top level fighter would have a field day with.
                      Lmao at everyone voting yes
