Gennady Golovkin is no Hype Job - Would KO Ward

I am sick of people saying GGG is a hype. This guy is the real deal.

I believe he has no weaknesses and would destroy any opponent from 154lbs to 168lbs without even breaking a sweat.

I've watched 22 of his fights and analysed his style very closely. I am 100% confident he would perform even better when he steps up the competition.

The guy has power unheard of in MW history. Without a doubt he will hand Andre Ward his first loss & would KO him. Ward honesty doesn't want this fight. Imagine going into a fight knowing that there is a 90% chance that you are going to get Knocked the F**k out. Ward can't afford to have that happen to him.

Why should he move up to 168lbs now? If he does you will never give him credit and will say he fought bums. Deadset, everyone is scared to fight him. Even that ***** cat Sergio Martinez.

        TS

I think people just want to see Gennady step up the level of comp. Well that's an understatement, lol.

Now it's not all his fault of course -- you're always going to have a number of name guys conveniently avoiding Gennady for obvious reasons, but still, I think he's capable of finding bigger and better tests these days.

But yeah, dude is surely a beast in the making. At least it appears that way.

This, and the fact that he isn't unbeaten American.

I don't know why Ward has to even be brought up. It's like people who were calling for Floyd to fight Martinez at 160. Golovkin has to go up to 168 to fight Ward. Ward has to go up to fight Kovalev or Stevenson. Look, there are weight classes for a reason and if a fighter wants to stay in a division they are most comfortable, most suited for, good, that's the way it should be.

And of course there is the flipside. Why doesn't Ward move down to 160 to fight GGG. Why should he, he could end up Chad Dawson'd. It goes on and on.

The best should fight the best in their own divisions. If Golovkins goal is to unify the 160 titles, let the man attempt his goal.

I wasn't around in these forums, but where Edison Miranda and Arthur Abraham (two notorious punchers) this hyped up when they were fighting at middleweight? Abraham was 30-0 (24 KOs) at middleweight and Miranda was 26-0 (23 KOs) before he lost his first fight (I felt he beat Arthur).

He is an unbeaten Khazakstanian doe which sounds a lot cooler. The national anthem they did was pretty intense

And for the record TS, I disagree on your assessment that Gennady would KO Ward.

I'd take Ward to win. In fact I think Ward beats anybody in and around his weight class. The guy is elite, elite, elite. But would GGG have a puncher's chance? Absolutely. Anybody with that type of power has a chance.

Abraham was hugely hyped up, especially after he ko'd Tayor, people were saying "not only has he got massive power but he's a great counterpuncher and highly skilled"

People deny the hype but look at the matthyse hype, the price hype, massive punchers always get hype

that said i do thing GGG is better than those mentioned
