Beating oscar de la Hoya who is an ATG is not the only rack Floyd can gang his hat on.

Undefeated through five weight classes beating the top guy in each weight for the past 17 years speaks for itself Duran didn't have that type if career or longevity.

Duran beating Ray Leonard does not make him top 10-20 that's ridiculous not beTing any other ATG makes him30-40

Nice summation but you left out a lot of important details concerning the rest if his career.

Beating ray while nice doesn't make you an ATG.

I don't put much stock in fighter of the decade awards he was 70-1 but only gad twelve title defenses so by the time he got to 58-1 he was ready for a title shot got it l lmao

If Pacquiao and Mayweather are ATGS..let me ask you this question.

Do you think that Bob Arum would have allowed Manny Pacquiao to go anywhere near a 147 hard hitting prime Thomas Hearns?

Do you think that Floyd Mayweather would have went anywhere near a 147 Undefeated Version of prime Ray Leonard?

If your answer is yes, you got some explaining to do.

Both are these supposed atgs would have crapped in their pants.

Haha floyd has 0 super premium wins. Extremely weak résumé. He had his chance for a super premium win in pacquiao... Didn't happen. His best win is corrales who as ******* as the boxing hall of fame is, he most likely will not get in. Best win is over a fighter not even hof status much less atg status ( big difference). Only real boxing fans can see past losses...

Actually after going 74-1 and leaving the lw division as king, it does. The rest of the résumé is the reason he is in the top ten.

Edit: 71-1 sorry it didn't sound right had to check

He was the greatest lightweight of all time, and then came up, with a 71-1 record, and beat one of the greatest welterweights of all time. His losses were to fighters In heavier weight classes, yet he moved up two weight classes to fight Hagler losing in a very competitive fight that went the distance(15 rounds). There Is no possible way of denying Durans place as an ATG, whether you liked him or not.

You sound like a robot after beating ray and winning the 147 title how many times did he defend it or win it back? Answer is 0.

How many times did he defend the title @154 0

                    160 0

You get my drift. One victory over Ray Leonard and beating a bunch of nobodies @135 does not get you in my top 10-20.

He didn't dominate outside of 135 hence he gets ranked lower against fighters who went up and dominated like Floyd, Roy, Bhop, pernell, sugar Ray Robinson Henry Armstrong etc .
