Golovkin calls out Mayweather 154lbs: "I want that fight!"

Mayweather is already preparing a strategy against Golovkin:
Plan A. Accuse Golovkin of using steroids.
Plan B. Claim he never heard of him (might not work after steroid accusations, so plan B can be switched with plan A).
Plan C. Try to give him a deal he has to refuse. Something like 90 percent Mayweather 10 percent Golovkin.
Plan D. Force him to fight at unrealistic catch weight, maybe at 141 pounds, even though the title is at 154.
Plan E. If all of the above fails, hire a hitman and try to take him out in drive by shooting.
Plan F. If Plan E fails attack a woman and go to prison for a couple of years. GGG aint gonna get dat nicca if dat nicca is locked up.
Plan G. Suicide. Tragic, but does the trick - the 0 is still there.Last edited by A_Jeffrey; 02-02-2014, 12:08 PM.

GGG would have to come down to 154 for a fight against someone like Trout first and prove he was not drained for Floyd to fight him. Otherwise he'll get no credit for a win.
Plus, even if we go by your excuse and GGG would do what you said, it doesn't mean that a fight would happen because Floyd would say behind closed doors ....

Garcia is naturally a 147 fighter, he's fought at that weight before, he comes in to the ring on fight night at 152. Bloated my ass
Khan is also a big 140, he's tall, long arms, and should have moved up a few fights ago.
Lucas not sure why ur talkin about him.
Triple GGG woould knock all the 154 boxers out and below. He is huge compared to most of them. Floyd stands no chance, even at 154 GGG has all the advantages, weight-classes and share size exists for a reason. Floyd needs to stick to his best weight 147, he's always looked shaky and unatural above that imo
So what you are saying is Floyd should stop cherry picking at 154, let go of his belt there and come down to 147 to face the mandatory fight there .... OK but the problem is that Floyd doesn't even want to fight the mandatory there and instead wants to fight them cherry picked fights!
Just excuses by Floyd fans.

It's an intriguing prospect but reasonable if it doesn't happen. If it's reasonable for Pacquiao to refuse to face a fighter he already destroyed (Cotto) at 154lbs, then so is this? Oh but wait, Mayweather's number one at the weight. Yes he is, and Roy Jones was a heavyweight champ. Didn't mean he was fighting Lewis at any point.

If you are champ for a particular division, you shouldn't be refusing anyone.
May I remind you that Floyd is the 154 champ and GGG is not telling Floyd to come up, as Floyd's opponents need to do to fight him (Khan, Marquez, Guerrero, Hatton,..... ) but rather, he is saying that he is willing to drain himself down to 154 and fight at 154.
Roy Jones did it once to get the title against the weakest holder. Didn't mean much more than that. Roy went back down after that because he knew that that is not his division. Floyd on the other hand has fought 3 times at 154 and proved that he can handle it there. Floyd doesn't need to go up to 160 to fight a MW. Apples and oranges!
