Fair to say the KOs won't stop till GGG possesses outworldly power. Not sure of the arrangement GGG has with HBO but I'd imagine him and his team won't be happy waiting on the sidelines for his opportunity - the fans definitely won't.

Would be interesting if K2 threatened to send GGG over to Showtime in that case to force HBOs hand.

Boxing is indeed a business and Martinez has max 2 fights with them whilst GGG is still young in his career.

I don't know how he completes his contract without taking that fight.
If this fight does ever happen I'd like to bet all my points on it that JUlio wins

List them off..... if Sergio doesn't fight Golovkin next, isn't it an obvious duck?
He's not getting out of that HBO contract without fighting him
        James Kirkland.

Sergio is going to get more money with James Kirkland? Guess somebody forgot that James likes to demand a lot of money in any fight where money is

He had no problem facing the cruiserweight, Chavez Junior either. He fought all across the world earning his shots, dude came from dirt to hanging with royalty. If people now need to put in a little work to fight with him, then go out there and put in that work.
            Yep.

Martinez has no mandate to fight Golovkin until the hype job beats someone with a pulse...

Martinez will fight GGG at the end of the year. HBO better pay him that money too.

Lol HBO is probably licking their chops to get GGG matched up with whoever wins Sergio-Cotto. Especially if Cotto wins since he is a big name, regardless GGG would be the heavy favorite in both those fights.

I don't think Cotto has ties to HBO like Sergio does.... so he's probably free to move around

He doesn't but that is the type of fight that HBO would drop some big money on to get Golovkin's first PPV. I'd imagine Cotto would be likely to fight Canelo if he won, but I think HBO would make a strong push to make GGG-Cotto

Showtime offered Cotto 10 million.... I doubt HBO will put up that much
