I respect both of those fighters but what I think rubs people the wrong way is how they get praised for crushing weak opponents while other boxers get crapped on despite fighting much better opposition.

There's a double standard. You mentioned Andre Ward and he's a good example, he's a prime target of hate from certain GGG fans on here.

But like you said there are people with agendas. Best to ignore them when possible and just talk boxing with the real boxing fans who for the mosrt part are objective.

He don't even have to make it to Ward. At this point, I'll give him credit if he beats somebody I don't have to look up on f.uckin' boxrec.

We'll see what happens. The fights I would like to see most for Golovkin are Geale and Murray. Geale would be fine but the fight I really (besides Martinez) want to see is Murray. Although I am not sure it's possible.

I have no issue with either of those fights. But if they don't materalize. I'd much rather see GGG go and chase some bigger names instead of being content crushing tomato cans because for whaever reason the bigger names in the division won't fight him. And that's just not at 68. Don't know if it can be made with the whole HBO-Showtime thing. But Lara doesn't have people beating his door at 54 and has said he'll fight at 60. I'd like to see that fight even though I think GGG would destroy him.

golovkin beat dirrell, bute, andy lee, korobov, geale(just known names)

golovkin had the much tougher path to gold it seems to me, much tougher

didn't ward fight at lightheavy so as not to run into dirrell? would have been good if he was in with the rest of'em
