HBO had better ratings, but the Showtime fights were WAY better. Garcia vs. Burgos wasn't better than Charlo vs. Rosado, and the Peterson fight was good too! I must admit, I missed the heavyweight fight on HBO.

show fights were garbage, only decent one was charlo/rosado. jean(a nobody) vs peterson(a fake steroid using champ) was competive because both are horrible.

It's a shame as Showtime has the better shows by far.

how do you figure? neither of the 4 on showtime are even in the p4p discussions and jennings is the best american heavyweight we have so far who fought a crafty undefeated hw.

Unless they're televising Canelo, Broner, or Hopkins, SHO's ratings are awful. (And moving Canelo to PPV means one less draw for the actual network.)

I agree they need to learn from this and stop scheduling on the same night. Both their numbers were down from the previous year. Back in the day, they had somewhat respect for this. Thankfully, we have DVR's now or us fans would really be getting screwed.

Anyway, I switched back and forth all the way up to like the 5th or 6th round of Peterson-Jean when I just watched Garcia-Burgos up to I think the 9th round I stopped watching both. That was very strange because I never just stop watching fights like that. I even saw Rigo-Agbeko in its entirety.
