Being honest, he does deserve more than 15%. Not the majority or even close, but 75-25 would even be more fair. Wouldn't surprise me if Froch vacated the title and fight JCC Jr. Froch and Groves can always rematch later in the year. I'd like to see Froch-Chavez Jr.

I agree. 75-25 is fair. 85-15 does not seem fair to Groves. He is a popular fighter and he was winning the fight before it was stopped.

15% is what you get under the rules.

The IBF are a joke though so I wouldn't be surprised if they change their rules again to accommodate Groves.

A rematch clause is standard fare when you make a voluntary defence of your title against someone who is not the mandatory.

Well the IBF have made him mandatory now. When Hearn made the offer, he was not the mandatory hence the rematch clause/options.

I think Froch's initial offer was close to 75-25, but the IBF ruling means Groves is only entitled to 15%. The appeal kind of backfired financially.

The offer made by match room was with groves signing a 3 fight deal with them which he did not want to do
