  • Everything Dana said is true. He was asked about Floyd and answered it, but at the same time he said that his guys wouldn't be able to go over and beat a boxer.
I think that an MMA guy with a decent stand up game would have a much better chance of surviving a boxing match than a boxer would have of surviving an MMA match. There are too many ways to win in MMA.
Also anybody who thinks GSP isn't an incredible athlete is just blindly biased. His jab got pretty good after working with Freddie for a while. Check out when he fought Josh Koscheck.

    • I watch both boxing and MMA and it seems that some of you don't know **** about MMA -- just ignorant haters of MMA who need to be quiet before they embarrass themselves any further.

      • Let's put it thus way, GSP is a Pacquiao fan; not the other way around. At the highest level, it is unquestionable that elite boxers are more talented than elite mma fighters. It's like comparing Victoria's Secret models to the girls in Playboy.

          Which is why this theory:

          is so laughable.

Please explain. I'm not saying the MMA fighter would win a boxing match.

But I'll attempt to educate you a little - if you knew the slightest bit about MMA, you'd realize it's much harder to have a glossy "0" next to your name as you can't cherry pick and nearly all fights are against tough competition, the next #1 rated contender - fight after fight. If boxing were like this, there would be no undefeated fighters. The level of competition in the UFC is much tougher, fight-to-fight than it is in boxing. Most boxers don't even fight average competition until 20-30 fights in. In MMA, you're thrown to the wolves. This isn't even debatable.
I see. So because Dana White gets to pick who fights who MMA/UFC fighters are all automatically better than any boxer. Good argument. What does this have to do with Mayweather and GSP? Nothing. You're making a far broader more general argument that MMA is better than boxing and you're having that argument with yourself. In the process you've said some inanely ****** things and exposed yourself as an idiot. Have a cookie. You deserve it.

                • I've always wondered how certain NFL players would fare in the UFC.

For instance if Ndamukong Suh trained to get in that octagon, how would he do?

He'd have to drop 40-50 lbs. UFC has a 265 weight limit.

                    • I don't care much for UFC but I agree with everything Dana said in this video...the two sports are too different. UFC may have more weapons, but Boxing is much more about how to use a weapon, not just the quantity. Take your pick
