Ward never wanted the Golovkin fight any more than he wants the Kovalev fight.

No he isn't, don't mislead yourself. Andre Ward has never once said he wants to fight Golovkin next. He's asked for Froch, Chavez but never Golovkin.

It's always "ask them if they want it" and now he's talking ish because Team Golovkin have the financial backing to stay at Golovkin's natural fighting weight - 160. It's just like Quillin talking ish while hiding behind the GBP-HBO feud.

and if you read what I wrote clearly I said it was Team GGG creating the problem not Golovkin himself. you see when Abel Sanchez, K2 and HBO make outlandish claims and get called out on it. it makes Golovkin look bad because the reality is contrary to the hype they are selling

... Well, little by little, we re-discover what we all knew... namely that Golovkin never said that shit -- Golovkin would not have even been capable to elaborating such a statement in plain English...

GGG is a highly skilled fighter with power. He is also cheap labor that gets good ratings. HBO gets the same rating for the $600k they pay him as SHO does paying Broner or Garcia far more. Thats incredible **** for the buck, especially for a network that is reducing its boxing budget. DOn't expect HBO to risk this anytime soon.

GGG, as good as he appears, isn't good enough to beat Ward. He hasn't fought anyone with anything near what Ward brings into the ring. Ward would be heavier, faster and just as skilled, if not more so.

HBO best bet is to feed Froch to GGG to give him a credible win.

Froch is probably the most overrated fighter in boxing right now. That said, I don't like him as an opponent for GGG. For all his limitations, Froch is a rugged guy. He's tough and stronger ass hell. And he's naturally huge compared to GGG. It would be a very calculated risk there for GGG. Froch sux defensively. And the potential for a spectacular KO is there for GGG. But there's also a chance that GGG's power won't be enough to keep Froch off him for 12rds and he get roughed up and beat the hell up.

Personally, I would much rather watch Ward spank Junior's a$$ instead of a rerun of spanking Froch's a$$ once again.
