I'm sure GGG is well aware of most things being said on his behalf. Even if he never said it. He never dismissed it either.

And the potential for a spectacular KO is there for GGG. But there's also a chance that GGG's power won't be enough to keep Froch off him for 12rds and he get roughed up and beat the hell up.
Froch is the British "old style" brawler... That's what they like most overthere and they pay good money to watch...

It's always "ask them if they want it" and now he's talking ish because Team Golovkin have the financial backing to stay at Golovkin's natural fighting weight - 160. It's just like Quillin talking ish while hiding behind the GBP-HBO feud.
Andre Ward is Ready, Says Gennady Golovkin is Not
That is the title, ANDRE IS READY.....ALL GGG the "most feared" has to do is say one damn word. If he's having trouble finding fights, then GET READY. Or just stfu with all that FEARED TALK. He has trouble finding fights but there is a Champion saying GGG IS NOT READY! i.e. he doesnt want none. lol
He didnt ask for Froch, Froch asked for him in london. Why is the most feared guy not ready? Cause he would get his ass kicked and you know it

If Froch was American, can you imagine how popular he would be? They'd be talking about him like Gatti, and calling him the greatest white boxer of the modern era.

Title my foot, read the actual quotes. Ward is still talking about the fight a year from now, he doesn't want it next and he never did. All the Ward interviews on Golovkin are the same.

Don't delude yourself, Ward has never once asked for a Golovkin fight. He's saying all this stuff now because Team Golovkin have indicated they are staying at 160.

The coast is clear because Team Golovkin have signalled their intent to stay at 160 for the time being.
You're assuming Ward doesn't want it. Probably to fit your agenda. He clearly stated he does. So that's all we can go on. Likewise, just like GGG says he's staying at 60. He also said he'll fight anybody from 54-68. Which one is it? Cause I'm confused. Seems pretty convvienent that while Ward was on the shelf, GGG was chirpin' about anybody from 54-68. But now that he's back and saying he's up for it, GGG is concentrating on cleaning up 60. Which BTW is where he's b!tchin' about everybody ducking him. What's the point in staying at 60 if no one will fight him?

I'm not assuming anything, I'm reading his words. I like Andre Ward but he never, never asked for the Golovkin fight.

He always said "down the line", "a year from now", "ask them if they want it" etc.

I think Andre Ward beats Golovkin but let's not pretend Ward was pushing for this fight, he wasn't and still isn't.

"Right now my focus is 160; I want to be the best at middleweight," Golovkin said. "Next, it doesn't matter for me. I think next fight, [if] I'm going down to 154, I don't know with who, but it doesn't matter to me. Seriously, it doesn't matter. I just want to fight, and maybe in the future I'm going to 168. I think for me it's good to find good fights there in the future. I like Andre Ward, Carl Froch. There's a lot out there [at 168 pounds]."

                      Well, that's what Golovkin actually said for E S P N...
                      This is pretty clear

CraveOnline: You've stated on previous occasions that you'd fight any of the big names ranging from 154 to 168 pounds. What's next for you permitting you get past Rosado?

Golovkin: It doesn't matter. I want to fight everybody. Everyone in the 160 pool and anyone at 168. Maybe Carl Froch..anybody. I'm ready.

He says hell fight anybody at 168 and that he's specifically ready right at the very moment. He said it beyond that ESPN interview. It has been repeated multiple times.
