Bradley doesn't have what it takes to be a PPV star.
Elite skills but no fan base. Not much interest in him really from the public. He can barely fill seats.

Well Bradley could always pay to break his contract.

I don't think it was a very good choice, Thurman, Khan, Ortiz, Garcia, Broner and Mayweather would have been big money fights for him.

But we will see what happens, maybe the coldwar dies down and he won't have to leave Top Rank.

Talent wise yes. But he's got no fanbase to make Mayweather/Pacquiao/Cotto money. He's the B-side in all of his PPV's.

Still, he's one of the highest paid boxers in the sport today. He got $1 million for Casamayor, $5 million for Pacquiao, $1.8 million for Ruslan and $4 million for Marquez. He's banked over $10 million in 4 fights with Top Rank.

Who on GBP is making that kind of money? GBP doesn't even like boxers with Bradley's style.

Someone with a win over Pac and JMM should leave $6 million on the table to go fight prospects Thurman and Porter. Ok

If you truly believe Bradley to be an elite fighter, all of the names you mentioned should be jumping ship to fight him because it will hurt their legacy, not his.

When you look at where Bradley was, and where he is now financially, well I think he is doing pretty damn good. He knows he is not a big attraction, but at least he is now getting big paydays.

There is a difference between being an elite fighter and an elite draw, but he found a niche and is building a nice bank account for it.

Andre Ward wishes he were in Bradley's shoes. If Bradly switched to GBP, he would get a floyd fight, get a decent 7 figure payday, lose the fight and then get sub million or slightly above that paydays after that.

With top rank his only real threat is Manny, and he knows Manny is vulnerable and could be able to maintain his 0 and ensure future good paydays. Nothing shabby about that.

Thurman, Porter, Garcia, Lucas, Maidana, Broner, and Mayweather is a more important win than JMM or Pac. So really look at Floyd and everything that comes with it. Imagine what he'd be worth if he beat Floyd...a lot, a whole lot.

Damn straight! I guess they're better off making peanuts. Only people they're paying is Broner and Canelo

Sounds good on paper but like Bradley said:

“Remember, Floyd Mayweather can do whatever he wants. He doesn’t have to fight me,” Bradley said. “Fans asked him to fight Manny Pacquiao, he’s not fighting Manny Pacquiao, you know what I’m saying? There’s no guarantee. What I have to look after is myself. I can’t chase a guy. I can’t chase Floyd Mayweather, and chase this guy, chase this guy. I need to secure my future, secure my legacy, and secure what Tim Bradley wants and what will benefit him and his family.”

And Garcia, Lucas, Maidana, Broner, etc. aren't making near the amount of money that Timothy Bradley is. They are all fights that I would love to see, but Timmmy gotta do what's best for Timmy. I understand his decision.

Cameron Dunkin is Timothy Bradley's financial/business advisor. He is to Tim what Al Haymon is to Floyd.

I respect his decision from a business stand point, I've said that. From a boxing fan stand point I hate it though, the options for good fights for fans and his legacy are all at GBP. Also I don't think Floyd would duck Bradley, tbh I think Floyd is better at every thing Bradley does and would dominate him.

Basically smart business move for him. Painful for boxing fans. If he's gonna get paid to beat some average fighters like Rios, Alvarado, and Prov...more power too him...just I'm not interested in them sadly.
