Basically smart business move for him. Painful for boxing fans. If he's gonna get paid to beat some average fighters like Rios, Alvarado, and Prov...more power too him...just I'm not interested in them sadly.
Put it this way, if Bradley beats Pac, he is THE guy at 47 when Floyd retires. All of GBP's fighters should be lining up to fight him at that point. And if GBP is unwilling to make it happen, like Robert Guerrero they will try to jump ship and the tide will turn.

No argument from me about a Mayweather win, of course....but I'm just not sure there is a way to know that those other names worth as much as Pac and JMM, that will take years to find out.

and if you throw in Cotto, then imagine his resume after beating Pac, JMM, and Cotto. Floyd is Floyd, but he can't claim to have those 3 wins. That is the best way to compete with Mayweather if you can't get a guaranteed fight with him

I get where youre coming from though, ideally this politics bs wouldnt be an issue and theyd alll mix it up

Bradley should do what's in his best interests but he shouldn't deceive himself into thinking he's smarter than Bob Arum, he isn't. And when you lay down with serpents expect to get bit at some point.

I want to see Bradley vs. Danny Garcia damn it.

Bradley doesn't have an advisor anymore. Duboef, Bradley and his wife made the deal. If his minimum went up, that's good for him. I can't really say he made a mistake yet. Who knows what will happen. A few Golden Boy fighters may jump ship or the feud may end altogether. He's making sure he receives the most guaranteed money possible. I can't blame him for that.

On the other hand, he did go to top rank to chase a Pacquiao fight. I'm surprised he didn't at least make a run at a Mayweather fight.

True, but Floyd does have an absolute destruction of JMM. He has a win over Cotto. I think him and Pac will eventually fight far far too late though when it's sorta pointless minus name value.

The biggest issue is what if Bradley does lose? Where does he go from there...like I said with a high guarantee can he land those fights without big opponents? TR doesn't have many near him so it's questionable. This fight coming up he has a lot riding on it, for his sake I hope the gamble pays off though, I like the guy.

He is getting 6 mill guaranteed, plus well over a million a fight in every fight after that. How much does Ward make a fight and he is p4p#2?

Ward made less his last fight, but he had to really fight HBO for it
