As much as I would like to see Froch give Groves a much deserved rematch, I wouldn't mind seeing him beat the hell out of Jr. Damn, now I might actually root for Jr. in his match against Vera. It would make Froch vs. Jr. more of a possibility if he won.

Froch isn't exactly a mover either, he's no Sergio Martinez. He's there to get caught, Chavez Jr. will catch him and from there it's mostly a question of whether he can do it consistently and effectively, or whether his conditioning will give out like it did against Vera.

Pacquiao Bradley and Martinez Cotto are the only PPV worthy fights on that list. I'll pass on the rest...

So what if Chavez gets hurt, or just quits boxing after Vera? No sense in making this statement with a guy unpredictable as Chavez unless he doesn't want to... nvm.

As evidenced by his last fight, it doesn't have to take a Sergio Martinez to beat Chavez Jr. It takes a world class fighter to beat Froch considering who he's fought over the past few years. Chavez Jr is terrible and unless Froch is suddenly shot to bits, he beats him easily. He's a better boxer than Chavez and Chavez doesn't even hit that hard.

I wonder just how many people around really think that Jr. is so dumb in order to take next the one of the most proven active super middleweights?

I have to agree with Dirk here. I think it's an easy night for Froch personally, in fairness to Carl he'll look good in this one.

I do think you could find a new record on the whole Groves re-matching Anderson and Degale thing though, every damn post dude. No one else gives a damn about those rematches, they do about this one and they are different levels, scenarios, belt situations etc. That's the bottom line.

                  Anyhow, nice sig and avi.

He and his team might think Froch is there for the taking. Like Lucian Bute did.

Groves vs DeGale would be a good fight though if Froch goes in a different direction. It will be interesting to see who Groves picks to fight

The Vera fight was Chavez having an off-night. It was pretty obvious why he lost hat fight, he was in terrible condition coming off a year's layoff and a bad loss. If he was more active in that fight Chavez would have won clearly, his shots were more effective but he just didn't throw enough of them. I'm picking Chavez Jr. in that rematch too.

Chavez hits hard enough, just ask Sergio Martinez in that 12th round. He has enough power to where he only needs one good shot to hurt his opponents.

Again this could be an easy night for Froch but it depends on which Chavez Jr. shows up, he could turn out to be a very dangerous opponent for Froch.
