If he wins and Ward wins his next fight (both will be favourites and true imo) then I can't see Froch not taking a Ward rematch. He wants to avenge a resume loss however unrealistic, not revenge for the beating he took off Groves.

Because ward is a much better fighter then froch. Ward can become even greater if he challenges himself. Froch has reached his potential, wont go to 175 and only has a few fights left.

Translation: Jr looked like **** against a journeyman, so that's who I wanna fight. Hopefully, Ward picks Groves and beats him up so I can dismiss a rematch. And if I beat Jr, the clueless ******s that make up about 99% of my fanbase will view Groves as a blip and go back to thinking I'm actually a great fighter when its quite evident that I suck.

Called it after their fight, if Groves wanted a proper rematch then he should have dialed back his rhetoric. I dunno what's more important to Groves, going on a pissing parade or to get the rematch. If Groves doesn't get an immediate or near future rematch because he's disrespecting Froch then it's his own fault.

I like the idea of Froch Vs Chavez..hopefully it comes about.

If there is no rematch, then maybe Groves should look at someone like Stieglitz / Abraham or a DeGale rematch.

You are aware that Chavez has already fought on PPV in the US and people know who he is based off of his name and has the bigger fan base than Froch so Chavez would be the A side and reason why this fight is in Vegas but I think Froch easily schools Chavez jr though

So with this being said if he fights Chavez Jr and Groves this year we will finally stop hearing him name drop Andre Ward then because Ward never brought up Froch name until Froch kept calling him out for a rematch but you can tell that he did not want to really get back in the ring with Ward and also I still am not certain that Groves will get the rematch this year anyway Froch seems dead set on not getting back in the ring with Groves and Groves should be his next fight and then Chavez Jr. if he beats Groves. This is almost a lowkey duck move.

If Chavez Jr. shows up in shape, this could be an interesting fight. Two iron chinned world class fighters going toe to toe. I'm of the opinion that the only reason Chavez looked the way he did against Vera was because he was out of shape. An in shape Chavez easily beats Vera.

I love the idea of Froch-Chavez Jr. And keeps Groves waiting. He should move on for now... by Sept, he could fight for WBO title and beat Steglitz or Abraham. Unification in Sept would sell Wembley. Thats what I would do if i was Hearn...

Anderson is suspended and WBC ordered DeGale/Jack.

I think Groves should go after Kessler or the winner of Stieglitz/Abraham. As for Froch vs. Chavez, it would be entertaining while it lasts.
