Totally agree. He really thought he was up there with the best and that he was so gifted that he would whip anybody. Plus with the poor opposition they put in front of him for all the time , than they went to a real puncher with power and we know the rest. I think samething will happen on the rematch. Broner isnt Mayweather at all and never will be. The funny thng is that they helped him thnk he was the one. They put him in the P4P list wich was a complete joke.

yea the secret is the quintero fight. I think not many people have actualyl watched it. Look it up it's on youtube. This Quintero guy is an absolute bum who never even made it far in the pro ranks yet broner got an "MD" against him and many/most people had Quintero winning the fight. People who been drinking the koolaid for a while don't understand taht Broner has had numerous fights already where he got his ass beatComment

Huey coming with the truthWrong!
The problem is, he spends too much time impersonating Floyd up to the point that he may actually believe he's Floyd. He imitates him in every way possible, from the facial expressions, hand gestures, the stuff he says, his boxing stance...
Broner needs to be himself! He needs to accept that he's NOT a Mayweather and he should have learned from that thorough ass whooping he got at the hands of Maidana that he needs to focus on his own style of fighting.Comment

the problem i see with broner is that he has a hard time transitioning from his shoulder roll type defense to offense. he doesnt throw enough punches and can only attack in short bursts. its almost like he gets stuck..that being said he did show some toughness in the maidana fight that i didnt expect from him and made it a close fight in the middle roundsComment

Of course Adrien Broner is emulating Floyds persona but since when does utilizing the shoulder roll and coming up as a fighter being trained to use it mean he is F***ing copying "Floyds" style. Floyd doesn't own the shoulder roll and certainly didn't start it. Even though Broner is a jackass and needs to go down to 135 or 140 I still give him much respect for fighting a toe to toe fight. Especially in the sense that he has much shorter arms then Floyd and relies almost completely on speed. Adrien Broner needs to be more offensive and aggressive with better footwork instead of waiting for his opponents to throw and miss. Unfortunately I believe by the time Broner realizes the only place he can cash out is boxing (not the rap game or anywhere else haha) and by that point he will be another Andre Berto and will have suffered to many career defining losses. I swear his stature and style reminds me of Meldrick Taylor.Comment

Broner has some hand speed, average power and it would appear a reasonable chin.
He lacks mobility, defense and punch volume.
He does not respect his body, eating fried chicken, smoking dope and chugging brandy between fights is not going to get him any where near the elite level.
What annoys me is the simple fact that there are maybe as many a dozen young, hungry and talented fighters in the WW division that are committed and dedicated to reaching the very top level who also deserve the chance more.
Broner got a shot because he has a big mouth and labeled himself 'lil bro'.
He blew it with his antics in the ring against Maidana and got found out.Comment

Was his recklessness, overconfidence, reluctance to work on his defense by moving his feet and his pompous attitude in believing that he could walk down and back up any opponent regardless of his lack of physical ability.
Hopefully the loss to Maidana has humbled and learned him the lesson that he cannot walk through every opponent he challenges at the higher weight classes because he was very successful at doing it at the lower weight classes against naturally smaller opponents.
He is going to have to make some necessary adjustments, if he is going to be at all successful at competing at this current weight class of 147 lb, because many of his opponents will have more natural ability of size and power than himself.Comment
