did he really post that? if true he is down right sad
Yeah, a few people posted links and screenshots of that tweet...I didn't even comment on it, just shook my head in disgust. Not trying to act all self-righteous as i've smoked and drank before, but I'm not a professional fighter who was hyping myself as the greatest.
Broner still has potential, he just needs to get away from all that trash he's surrounded by, find himself and focus on him! NOT trying to be Floyd...he needs to be Adrien!
Broner has a really bad defense. He gets hit a lot in all of his fights he was able to get away with getting tagged a lot fighting guys way smaller than him but he obviously hasn't since moving up.
It is painfully obvious, he has terrible defense. He was getting hit A LOT against gavin rees. For some reason people never call him out on it but it is the truth Broner's defense is just awful and he will never be more than what he is now if it doesn't change
Reflex is not that good plus again lack of sound head/body movement.
Another Al Haymon hype.
I'm sure he worked hard to get where he is, but now that he's there he is letting all the party life just swallow him up. He's too damn social. Needs too many damn friends and cares more about having fun now than working. Its just him and his personality. I don't see him changing any time soon. He may still be a terrific fighter, but he's definitely not living up to his potential.
the problem with broner is he's not really that good...he just feasted on smaller opponents before and then you have some morons labeling him the next fighter of the decade"peeleft:
Adrian Broner is a salesman and nothing more, now if he had been a salesman and a boxer he could had been akin to Mayweather but that's not what's real. What's real is we have a mediocre boxer, with the absurd unearned title of "Lil Bro," that moved up in weight because he got good press and thought he could make a lot of money at 147.
Poor pathetic bastard, he never knew what hit em. Lil bro, how about little b1tch?
The problem is, he spends too much time impersonating Floyd up to the point that he may actually believe he's Floyd. He imitates him in every way possible, from the facial expressions, hand gestures, the stuff he says, his boxing stance...
Broner needs to be himself! He needs to accept that he's NOT a Mayweather and he should have learned from that thorough ass whooping he got at the hands of Maidana that he needs to focus on his own style of fighting.
no different then most other fighters all fighters have a boxer they wanted to be like ali and sugar ray robinson for example
The truth is, Broner just wasn't and isn't that good of a boxer. He conned his way to get as much publicity and hype as he did, and I think he started drinking his own kool-aid. Not even Golden Boy was hyping him up the way he did himself, I give him props for that but only fools believed he was a future elite fighter. Look at all the trouble in this guy's early career; arguably lost to Quintero and Ponce De Leon, razor thin fight with past his prime Paulie, and got dominated by crude fighter Marcos Maidana. He's not a bad fighter by any means, but he's always been more Andre Berto than Floyd Mayweather.
