Lara has shown to be beatable facing Carlos Molina & Alfredo Angulo. I'm sure they'll give Lara a tune-up before he fights one of those two again.

The only problem with Cubans and promoters is because they are destroying the cash cows, made by the promoters. The Cubans shows one and one again that a smart quick fighter can destroy a punching human bag each time and Mayweather is not a casuality. The only reason for not make the fight between canelo and lara is because Lara will win him and TR knows it. You better go with the looser Angulo instead of the winner and protect your cash cow to looks really bad.

... The guy looked awful -- the fight should have been stopped by the ref...

Canelo doesn't remember things... Or he remembers what he wants to remember.

I would like to see Alvarez fighting Lara.

Any combination of the three of these fighters facing each other is fine with me because I believe they are all competitive matches. I don't think Lara is on some elite level above Canelo or Angulo. If Angulo and Lara ever rematch, I think the end result is a toss-up.

u know why he won because he was landing bombs his face didnt break by itself give me a break thats what happens. to say he would of won who knows he was getting drilled even during his run in the fight. If someones going around saying i only lost because of freak accident na u lost period your face was broke because your defense sucks granted his style is take a hit to give 2 and i respect that as much as anyone but when your taking bombs like that how can u deny his victory were not talking about a bad decision here

That's not a very nice thing to say from Lara, that injury looked awful. Angulo couldn't even bear to get touched there after. Then again I can see why he'd be pissed to have the win challenged by Hunter.

The way I saw it, Angulo moved his head and the incoming jab grazed him with the thumb close to the eye but I think it's more plausible that the swelling was caused by the repeated blows he took the whole fight.

If it ever happens, it'd be a close rematch. Ridiculous to say he'd end his career after all the body shots and the two KD's.
