Again, that's why a flat fee is a non starter. Simple, agree on a percentage split. Don't give me arbitrary bull**** estimates.

No, he supposedly made 26m+ for JMM 4. That's barely less than what he would have gotten out of that 40m, since TR would be getting cut out of the promotion.

Seriously doe, yeah in hindsight the offer seems great in light of Manny's recent tax issues, but AT THE TIME that was a horrible offer. Has anybody figured out (ballpark figure of course) how much Floyd would have gotten had that deal been accepted? It would have blown the f**k out Manny's purse. And at the time they were 1A 1B in the sport.

The deal at the time was trash.

Of course u have the benefit of hindsight. Conceding to 40 mill at that point in time woulda been a very dumb move and majority agreed then. It was a true low blow viewed as unreasonable, even a duck move. If u were Pac at that time with his peak stature, would u agree to $40 mill flat knowing u deserved much more?

If I was advising Pac at the time I would not have accepted the initial $40 million offer. I would have countered in the low 60's and if negotiations got us to anywhere around $52-55 million I would have advised him to accept it.

As if Floyd is responsible for all PPV. I was more interested in Mattythsse v Garcia ( especially with the catchweight bs). And he needs that Mexican money, hence the fight date and undercard.

Face it. He does not want to fight Manny.

Pacquiao is still living quite comfortably despite whatever financial situations he might be facing. Pacquiao is doing better than every hater in this forum combined. He is not obsessed with money like Floyd is, all Pacquiao wants is to live comfortably and that he is. I don't think we need to worry about him when you got people like Larry who claim they have money because they can take their kids to the beach.

This just shows Pacquiao's willingness to get the fight done and further exposes Floyd's obvious fear of this fight.

So you think Floyd is going to offer manny 40 million again lol he had his chance and now he will be lucky to get 15 million if he faces Floyd and he will not get any of the PPV money
And Pac is the only 8 division (4 lineal) champion ever. Fighter of the decade.

^^^ This is what history will remember. Pacs legacy is set and he wont be remembered as the ducker.

lol onepunch your talking finance and economics to these guys.

if pac was such a warrior and he felt he could defeat floyd why didnt he take the 40 mill offer or the 50/50 offer with drug testing? huh what LMAO

and now you want to offer to fight for free

next time floyd offers pac anything, and i can guarantee it wont be 40 million (were talking 10-20 million at this time) he better take it.

how come pac hasnt announced his fight yet? isnt he fighting in april lmao he better choose wisley because everytime he steps in that ring without someone named floyd his stock will continue to decline.

                    he cant beat bradley

Why is it that so many Floyd fans try to justify not fighting Manny based on the economics of the fight? A) they're wrong - it would be the biggest grossing fight in years if not ever and b) do you root for a boxer or a business man? If you want to root for a business man, there are plenty out there more successful than Floyd to root for.
