  • I really don't know why Floyd is so scared of past prime Manny. Money Mayweather has all the goods to beat the superstar, plus he can roid and get away with it. The level playing field is tilted heavily on his side. It is also the biggest money fight he could ever imagine.

Also boxing really needs this. Boxing would get 2-3 times the exposure mayweather canelo got plus with a much better fight. I know the sport isn't dead or dying, but this is still boxings Super Bowl.

            - Floyd Jr and Sr declined because he can't believe that a 106lb fighter can come up and walk thru big Cotto, Oscar, ....
            - Floyd said 14 day cut-off date
            - Floyd declined and wanted without cut-off dates
            - then Floyd declined Manny when Manny accepted random testing
            - then Floyd declined to fight Manny because he rather go on a long vacation
            - then Floyd declined to fight Manny because he rather fight Ortiz who quit, never avenged his loss, fought only once at WW, was knocked down twice and drew to Peterson before that.
            - then Floyd declined the 50/50 offer
            - then Floyd declined the $45 million offer
            - then Floyd declined 45/45 and winner takes the rest
            - then Floyd declined a 55/45
            - then Floyd declined 60/40 and said "We make the demands not Manny"
            - then Floyd declined a fight because he told Manny that he must accept not getting any PPV money or no fight.
            - then Floyd declined Manny and said "Health comes first"
            - then Floyd admitted AGAIN that he is not interested in fighting Manny and admitted that Manny is absolutely interested in the fight.
            - then Floyd declined to fight Manny because Manny owes taxes
            - then Floyd declined to fight Manny because after 4 years of not bringing it up Floyd is now too sensitive about Manny's promoter.
            - then Floyd declined to fight Manny because Manny has to avenge his losses first (see Ortiz above)
            - then Floyd declined to meet with Manny

After all that but you Floyd fans still think that Floyd was interested?

You think its a serious challenge to fight Floyd as long as Floyd donates his share

Don't you think it would be more credible if Pac would to say that Manny would be donating his own share to prove he wasn't doing it for the money?

I'm ****ing serious the same bs gets floated around and even when you try to correct it, nothing happens. The stadium or the cut DID NOT kill negotiations in may 2012 the ****in 40 mill offer did!!!

Why would you accuse Floyd of roiding? The only fighter who had a problem with taking tests was Manny. Remember, he needed 30 days, then 24, then 14, but never RANDOM. But after getting KTFO, he's all about testing. Manny fans should never accuse Floyd or Juan Manuel Marquez of roiding, especially knowing Manny's past!

Not if he thinks he can put Floyd on the spot at the same time.

                      Get your facts straight homie!

Blood Testing: "Arum: The Fight's Off" Dan Rafael ESPN January 7, 2010

                      http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=4803490

Quote: "Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want any blood testing but had agreed to take three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week; one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight; and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would have been subject to the same testing procedures."

Quote: " Said Koncz: "We agreed to move the drug testing to 24 days under the supervision of the Nevada commission and Mayweather still wouldn't budge. So now what we've done is give up maybe $40 million to take a stand for Manny's principles."

Cuts: "Blame Bob Arum for No Pac-Floyd Fight" Dan Rafael ESN January7, 2012

                      http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...yweather-fight

Quote: "Arum figured Mayweather would be in jail and off the table. Now that Mayweather is available and seemingly would like to make the match, Arum suddenly isn't interested. He used the lame excuse of the cut Pacquiao suffered against Marquez, saying he might not be ready for May. (I've never heard of a cut taking more than six months to heal.) However, earlier this week, when Arum thought Mayweather would be on ice behind bars, he said there was a good possibility Pacquiao would fight in May. Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune."

Quote: "We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told me over the phone. I asked him, now that Mayweather was available, would he at least be part of the conversation when Arum meets with Pacquiao next week?
A perturbed Arum's response was, "Absolutely not. Nope." Come again? You won't even talk about it with Pacquiao, I asked very politely. "My mission is to go over to the Philippines and talk about these four guys," Arum said. "If Manny feels he wants to go in May, he will tell me. I want to make sure Manny's cuts are healed. We won't fall under this kind of pressure. June is much more likely for Manny's fight, not May."

Quote: "But at this moment, the fault of a fight not being made falls squarely on the shoulders of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who, in my view, simply doesn't want to make the match at a moment when there seems to be no legitimate impediment. Arum doesn't want to match his cash cow, Pacquiao, with somebody he doesn't control, and he has no control over Mayweather. He once did, but that was years ago, before their nasty breakup."

                      I'm just sayin'
