You made a very good point on Lara too, not only is he craftier but IMHO he is technically more fundamentally sound than Canelo. He is a more difficult fighter to touch up than Canelo is, a more difficult style to crack. Angulo's pressure is so suffocating that he managed to knock down twice a finesse, more fundamentally educated fighter in Lara which is impressive. He had Lara looking very uncomfortable the entire fight.

Angulo for as one dimensional and caveman like as he might be as a fighter has two huge attributes that will always pose a threat to anyone; immense WILL and apparently, DYNAMITE in those punches. Not to mention this is a make or break fight for Angulo's future so needless to say the hunger and motivation will definitely be there as well.

Glad, we ain't on bad terms.

This right here (the bold) is what makes me anticipate a brutal beating pending for Canelo...

If you guys Dont see a lopsided victory for Canelo then you guys are smoking too much Angeldust. Fact. This is a made to order fighter for the stronger quicker Canelo. Possibly the strongest fighter in that division. He will give him angles and box his way to a lopsided victory. Canelo doesnt sport Laras glass-jaw, and is naturally bigger than Lara so that is a terrible assessment to judge this fight of a fighters performance against another fighter. You have to match THESE TWO fighters head to head, not what any one of them has done against other fighters. That's asinine. And I COULD be wrong PODSIBLY. However, this is an obvious calculation from knowing both boxers strengths going head to head. Not what they have done against other fighters.

Its also funny to Me how everyone HERE is saying that Canelo hasn't fought anyone while they want to crown Maidana king who was at one point a few punches from getting knocked by Josesito Lopez, whom Canelo made look like the most amatuer of amatuer fighters, nullifying Lopez power by having a lot more of his own. His power is dangerous, he put Trout on his ass with a right cross. There's a ton of Canelo haters here....that's discouraging.

You mean the Josesito that came up what two weight classes to fight Canelo? Awesome win there. Maidana wound up beating the crap out of Lopez didn't he? You know ko'ing him along with soto karass. Should be a good fight no way in hell is this a PPV but whatever. I could see either fighter winning this fight.

I don't think much of Canelo and am favoring Angulo to ko him, don't know what people see in Canelo which makes him such a favorite to win.

Angulo is pretty underrated technically. He's just so slow. Canelo's speed advantage will be a huge factor. One thing I know is Angulo's chin will hold up and there's no way he quits again. More than likely a Canelo decision.

I don't think this one is going to the cards. Angulo is going to either KO Canelo or get KOed trying. That is what is making me anticipate this fight. So what, if they are both coming off losses. The Mayweather fight was boring, the Mayweather 800 meter invitational indoor run.

This fight will be much more exciting. I think Canelo has got the skills and fortitude to win, but it will certainly be one of his sternest tests.

Alrighty man, no hard feelings despite of what might have been said in the past... by my part at least.

I'll respect your opinion when it comes to the whole Mayweather / Pacquiao situation and let it be.

And I hope so. His diva ways of demanding all of his fights to be on PPV this year really make it easy to want to see him get KOd.
