    Vitali may return

...The Klitschko haters are gonna love this ****. lol lol

Vitali Klitschko May Return, Pending Elections in Kiev
    By David A. Avila (Febraury 7, 2006)

It's just chatter at the moment but Vitali Klitschko, who relinquished his WBC heavyweight crown after suffering a knee injury, may return to the ring if his political aspirations don't prove successful.

"Vitali has been talking about coming back if he isn't elected mayor in Kiev," said Tom Loeffler, manager of K2 Promotions, the company that was started by Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko a few years back. "Don't be surprised if he returns to boxing."

The elections in Kiev, Ukraine are taking place in March.
Klitshcko had been within days of defending the WBC title against Hasim Rahman when he suffered a knee injury while training. Now, Rahman is poised to defend the title against James "Lights Out" Toney on March 18 in Atlantic City.

Loeffler said younger brother Wladimir Klitshcko is poised to meet IBF title-holder Chris Byrd in Germany on April 22nd.

It was just a month ago that the eldest Klitschko stated he would hang up his gloves, but with one heavyweight title-holder John Ruiz losing his belt to Russian giant Nicolay Valuev, and his younger brother poised to meet IBF title-holder Chris Byrd, it just might be enough incentive for Dr. Ironfist to return.

    I thought so!

I knew deep inside him he doesn't want to quit boxing.

If he comes back it better be against the Rock-Toney winner otherwise its a duckjob. I am hoping he comes back though if his knee can handle it

He never wanted to fight The Rock. He fears the Rock. He will only come back after Toney beats Rockman, so that Vitali can use his height and reach against Toney and never have to face the Knockout power of The Rock.

Leave it to Peebdis to post it like he's got a stiffie.

He hadn't fought since the Williams fight and couldn't get through a training camp without hurting himself several times over.

Remove him from the ring another additional year, and you think that's going to make him better?

He's done. He's too injury prone, and with the added inactivity, he'll only be further behind the 8-ball.
